What you did here is interesting, however it seems to me as if, while it is supposed to be about the car, the car gets lost in the psychedelic mish-mash of components. Generally if you want the car to be the focus then the car should at least the larger part of the whole and the eye should look at it first: right now the eye is centered on the 'Dart' and while that is the name of the car, it's not the first thing you should look at, imho.
Additionally, how does everything apply to the car? You mentioned that it's a bit of everything but /why/ is that so? I like the red hexagonal honeycombs off to the side because they remind me of bees and wasps, and what do they have? Stingers. Darts. That fits. How do rainbows come into play here, or the chains or shadow fluxes? You have to consider the symbolism of the choices you make, because if everything fits, the design works, you know? If it all clashes and makes no sense, it doesn't matter how Michael Bay the design is: there is an awesome explosion, and then what?
Also, you should consider colours. Sometimes a lot of colour is great because it acts like a beacon and makes you look at it first. But sometimes a lot of colour overwhelms and takes over your design. Choose colours that complement your subject and make it stand out, because in my belief, that's what the contest is all about. It's Dodge's baby, they want it to look great. So make it great!
The firts thing that hit me about this piece was COLOUR. The colouring is amazing, all those strong vibrant colours makes the picture jump out at you. However one downside to the strong colours and their sharp shapes is that the car fades a little in comparison, since I'm not part of the contest I'm not sure what the focus is, but the word Dogde makes me think the car shouldn't disappear that much from the viewers mind when looking at the amazing colours and the abstract design The details are great and when you look closer on the car and see the shine and details added there too you see how it all comes together
